The Yalu River, separating North Korea from China, was the strategic location of many battles: 1894, Sino-Japanese War at "Battle of Yalu"; 1904, Russo-Japanese War at "Battle of the Yalu River"; 1950, Korean War, counter attack of the Chinese army with North Korea facing the US-South Korea coalition from Yalu. Also this area is it still a divide as the difference between the Chinese and North Korean people is evident. The "chopper" is a prehistoric primitive tool, stone cutting edge, resulting in a clash between two pebbles.
